ORPHAN CHILDREN FIGHT WITH HUNGRY

Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi inaugurated Girl Child Week from 18th to 24th January 2018 being organized by ADF India. He signed a pledge to protect and respect Girl Child.

He also planted a ‘Raat Ki Rani’, a jasmine shrub which blooms at night, to send out the message that women should be free to flourish not only in daytime but even in the darkness of the night.

No nation can hope to progress and aspire for a future of prosperity, joy and fulfillment by discriminating against the women in the society.” Quoting Former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Mrs. Tehmina Arora, Director of ADF India said: “The female foeticide statistics are indicative of women’s traumatized existence. No place is safe for them, not even their mother’s womb.”
