First of all, let me It is an immense pleasure to see such a great time of the year where everyone is heading back to meet their families – what a joyous occasion for us all! The purpose of this letter, however, is not just to pass on my greetings but to bring your attention to a certain matter. 

As you know, we are initiating our Christmas donation drive for children and homeless people, where we are collecting funds from our community. We were hoping that you’d be kind enough to donate as well. I remember how your generous donation last year made a sizeable difference to our efforts, and we are forever in your debt for such an act of kindness. Last year, almost 835 children and homeless people were able celebrate New Year by having new clothes and quality food, and we plan to go even beyond that this year.
